The last thing we at PRPL want is to be limited to vendordom. Veeendooor — might as well say “he who must not be named.” But what this designation conveys is arguably worse: a vendor is a one-and-done, transactional relationship. It’s about deliverables, price, and deadlines, rather than relationships, problem solving, and amazing work.

That’s why you won’t find “account managers” here. Clients don’t need to be managed, and we’d prefer to work with those who manage themselves, anyway. We do make sure that our partnerships are mutually beneficial, and sure, that can include defining timelines and deadlines. But agencies should really be there to help, propel, and become an indispensable extension of their partners’ teams.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM AN AGENCY PARTNER

What you will find is a whole agency whose job is to understand the client’s business and their customers’ pain points, then make things easier for both. We challenge old school mentalities and push our solutions to exceed the client’s goals. Agency partners should also be counted on to provide their best recommendations and honest opinions. And you bet we’ll be honest.
